CAMRA campaigns for real ale, real pubs and consumer rights. They are an independent, voluntary organisation with over 85,000 members and have been described as the most successful consumer group in Europe. CAMRA promotes good-quality real ale and pubs, as well as acting as the consumer's champion in relation to the UK and European beer and drinks industry.

The Society of Independent Brewers was founded in 1980 under the title The Small Independent Brewers Association (SIBA) to represent the interests of the growing numbers of independent brewing companies in the UK.

East Anglian Brewers Ltd is a brewers’ co-operative founded in 2002 as a company limited by guarantee and made possible by funding from the East of England Development Agency. By networking with farmers EAB aims to produce beers brewed with local malts and to make the ales available to local communities through farmers’ markets and community shops.
